
“I’ve walked through grief, loss, and life’s messiest moments—and I’m here to help you do the same.” Jeri
Jeri suffered the loss of her daughter to SIDS, and has lost close family members to drunk driving and domestic violence. She has also survived narcissistic abuse and divorce.
This loss motivated Jeri to begin helping others by becoming support counselor facilitating support groups and a parent contact for newly bereaved parents. The loss, support and feeling of purpose she received in the SIDS community propelled Jeri to finish her Associates, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees and become an LCSW.
As a volunteer, Jeri is a parent member of the Academy of California SIDS Advisory Council. She was an Abstract Presenter at the SIDS International Conference Glasgow Scotland, 2018 on how to provide better services to SIDS parents. She is the Former President of Southern California Regional Sids Council. Jeri feels that the greatest honor she has received is being the Recipient of the Senator Daniel E Boatwright Award for extraordinary public service on behalf of Californians touched by Sudden Infant Death Syndrome that she received in 2012.
Jeri has a background in improv comedy and has been trained by the Improv Therapy Group of Chicago to provide appropriate and timely Improv Therapy to clients and train Psychotherapy professionals.
Jeri has worked with Entrepreneurs, Life Coaches, Therapists, Health Care Professionals, Athlete’s, Moms, High Performers, Holistic Health Professionals, and Veterans,
Jeri excel’s at guiding people to cope better, build confidence, improve relationship skills, hold boundaries, and feel better.
